So, we´re getting BIG!

Author: Maria Victoria Landerreche

So unFIX has become SOMETHING big!

Big enough that the time has come to grow and develop. With that “offspring” spirit and after a truly agile recruiting process…drums here please…we have come up with a new team!

This team of 7 multicultural entrepreneurs represents the best blend of coaches, trainers, authors and consultants that will take unFIX to the next level!

Exciting, right? But let's get to know them!

A Sheingold

A is an Agilist who’s been working with teams for over ten years. They love helping teams focus on doing their best by reducing pain points, both in a technical and social context.

In their free time, A enjoys gaming of all sorts and being a huge nerd.

A lives in the USA with their spouse, kid, and two dogs.

Dmitry Velykoivanenko

Dmitry is an inquisitive inventor in mind and a tinkerer at heart with regard to organizations. Having worked in different product, project, and organizational leadership positions for over 13 years and dealing with companies of many shapes and sizes, he (still!) likes to work with people and organizations to help them achieve their full potential. With ongoing studies in psychology and coaching to complement that experience, he started a consultancy that helps companies find their path and purpose and build themselves based on them. Seeing people and organizations find their purpose and drive what they do around it has become a passion and a joy to him.

Living currently in Kyiv, Ukraine, amidst airstrikes, powercuts, and volunteering to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitry likes playing all sorts of games: board, card, video - you name it, LARPing and is an aufguss-master.

Jan-Paul Ouwerkerk

Jan-Paul Ouwerkerk started his career in IT (management) and soon realized that human interactions are the most important factor in a successful business. His search for team success led him from Lean to Agile & team coaching (and so much more). For the first ten years, he worked for dozens of companies in very different roles and branches (interim, trainer, manager, coach). For the last five years, he has co-owned a consultancy firm with a small team helping clients create more agility in their work. Jan-Paul lives in the Netherlands with his soon-to-be wife Bernadette, Stijn (5), and Veerle (3).

Jens Thiemann

Jens loves to build organizations. Jens has founded and built IT companies. The first was during his computer science and mathematics studies at the Technical University of Dortmund.

He now has more than twenty years of experience in various management positions and company sizes, nationally and internationally. His practical know-how is based on functional and disciplinary leadership and the design of single teams up to business units with more than a hundred employees.

Jens lives in Dortmund with his wife and two kids. As a family, they enjoy playing board and card games. Together with his son, he is an active member of the local Handball Club, where he acts as a timekeeper and youth referee mentor.

Jurgen Appelo

Jurgen Appelo is a book author, public speaker, and experimental entrepreneur interested in agility, innovation, systems thinking, complexity science, science fiction & fantasy, reading, and running.

As a generalist, his work days range from writing and design to marketing and finance.

He lives in Rotterdam with his spouse Raoul, a Member of Parliament in The Netherlands. Jurgen is obviously the least important one.

Pretty amazing!

Can you guess what we're dealing with now? We´re undergoing the common journey of new teams! We´re figuring out most of the things, we´re storming at the moment and uncertainty is our breakfast (actually breakfast for some, dinner for others, as we´re spread around the globe…which makes it even more complex exciting!).

Stay tuned! New things are coming, seat belts are fastened, are you ready to take off with us?
