Voting Options
As a team member, sometimes you need to vote. But did you know there are more options than just Agree and Disagree?
Voting Options:
Yes • Bravo • Don’t Know • Won’t Fight • No • Veto
Purpose
This is a non-exhaustive list of decisions one can take in voting. The addition of Hell Yes and Heavens No allows for the expression of dedication towards or against a notion with a willingness to invest time and effort into making said decision come to light or not.
Notes
Some decision-making methods can make a difference between “Yes” and “Hell Yes” and between “No” and “Heavens No”. (Consent-based decision-making is one such example, where a Veto is not the same as a regular “No”.)
Rules / Constraints
In any decision, you pick only one of these options.
Some decision-making methods may limit the set of options.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
