Ownership, or saving, is a basic human drive as it allows for security, autonomy, and the accumulation of resources. It provides a sense of control, stability, and the ability to plan for the future. Ownership satisfies our instinctual need for self-preservation and the desire to fulfill our material and psychological needs.
